Algebra 1/2 I just forwarded the unit 4 materials, we are doing the 3 pages with proportions for today and Tuesday. a proportion is 2 equal ratios and can be solved by setting up an equation using cross products to solve for the missing number. ex 2/3= x/9 becomes 2×9=3x, 3x=18, x=6 ex 4/7 =6/x 4x=7×6, 4x= 42 , x=10.5
